- Bethell Hospice offers grief support for adults and children, including art therapy for children and face-to-face meetings.
During the pandemic, they are offering phone and email support to parents of children who are grieving and, soon, through Zoom.
- Family Education Centre's
Resource Library offers several tip sheets in seven languages, including several about supporting your grieving child. They also
offer several online programs, including the free
"Weathering the Storm: Parenting Grieving Children.
- Heart House Hospice has a number of free resources
on their website, including downloadable information and links to other websites that offer support.
- Helping Teens with Traumatic Grief: Tips for Caregivers from The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) lists
ways to recognize and help your teen with traumatic grief. Download
it here.
- Hospice Dufferin offers free bereavement support, including one-on-one support
counselling for adults and children, a lending library of videotapes for both adults and children, meditation, art therapy and more. During the
pandemic, they are offering one-on-one support and Zoom group support.
